May 2008

Saturday, May 10th from 6-8 pm Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will perform at West Village Market (84 West Main St., Cambridge, NY 12816). Donation requested.

Sunday, May 11th from 6-8 pm Deb Cavanaugh will perform as part of the fourth Songwriters Exchange Series at Pompanuck Farm (494 Chestnut Hill Rd, Cambridge, NY 12816). $5.00 admission

Friday, May 30th Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will perform as part of Kids Night Out at The Troy Arts Center from 5pm - 9pm. Kids Night Out is part of Troy Night Out in Troy, NY. Kids Night Out at The Arts Center features hands-on activities for children and teens in the visual and performing arts, throughout the night. Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will alternate with Movement/storytime for young children with Ellen Sinopoli. Enjoy make and take crafts for kids, opportunities for kids and adults to try throwing a pot on the wheel - plus refreshments and fun for the whole family.

Saturday, May 31st Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will be spending the day in the recording studio.

June 2008

Thursday, June 5th from 5:30-6:30 pm Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will perform at the ILCC Annual Picnic (Colonie Town Park in Colonie, New York) This annual picnic is for families involved with the Independent Learning Center in Albany, NY.

Friday, June 6th from 5:30-6:30 pm Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will perform a couple of songs at the Children’s Memorial Day Flower Vigil in front of the State Capitol Building in Albany, NY.

Friday, June 13th from 8-10 pm Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will perform at Moon & River Cafe (115 S. Ferry St., Schenectady, NY 12305). Donation requested.

Saturday, June 14th Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will be finishing up in the recording studio.

Thursday, June 19th from 7-9 pm Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will perform at Java Jazz ( 318 Delaware Ave., Delmar NY 12054). Donation requested.

Thursday, June 26th – Sunday, June 29th Cavanaugh & Kavanaugh will be working at Old Songs (Altamont Fairgrounds, Altamont, NY). Old Songs is a family-friendly festival of folk, traditional, Celtic and world music and dance, known for its relaxed atmosphere, interactive sessions and workshops, hands-on experience and participatory nature. In addition to three concerts there are 120 daytime workshops given by performers. Also featured are a juried craft show, food and instrument vendors, and a well-run children’s activity area. Come find us there and say hi!
